Gather 3 ½”- 4” wide fabric strips cut diagonally on the bias, your hot iron, a few pins, and an awl to start making bias tape or binding in the fabric of your choice.
Making binding for quilts is surprisingly easy with this tool. The cutting width of your strips depends on how wide your finished binding will be. If you want your finished binding to be 1 inch, the XL bias tape maker is perfect for you. You will need to cut 3 ½ - 4 inch strips to start with. If you need the finished binding width to be smaller, check out our bias tape maker set and make bindings of ½ inch or ¼ inch with the smaller bias tape makers.
